At the beginning of November Sanoh Industrial in Japan created a Quality Task Force withe the mission to spread the quality message to Sanoh subsidiaries around the world. November has been declared Quality Month within the Sanoh Group and the Sanoh UK team has been playing its part in the initiative.
Sanoh UK Quality Manager Laurence Duncan has been managing our participation in Quality Month. Sanoh UK have marked ‘Quality Month’ by having Toolbox Talks with all Operators using ‘Quality Focus’ as the main theme. We have reminded all employees that, just because we have excellent Quality Scores from all customers, we must not become complacent and allow our standards to slip. A Quality Month banner has been displayed at the entrance to our Northside factory in Avonmouth Bristol and on the production line at our facility in Swindon and all employees have been supplied with Quality Month badges to highlight the global importance of good quality products throughout the business.
Sanoh UK Operations Director Mr Richard Filer said, “Sanoh UK is delighted to have taken part in the Quality Month initiative. We have focused on maintaining our already excellent results by exceeding standards, following our quality plan and ensuring our 5S is up to date and adhered to. I am very pleased with the results and we will continue to strive to look for further improvements. Good luck to the quality team in at Sanoh Japan and to others around the world”
